Reflections

 

This weblog assignment, made me understand even further in blogging. By exploring and experimenting, I am aware of the people who were to read my postings. Learning, understanding about it is best to put into practice and applying it is best as I am a hands on person.

As I have never blog before, there are issues that I encountered. Funny it might sound, the first challenge was how to start and which host to select. I followed the instructions from the printed copy of the course outline, selected the blooger.com and through its online tutorial I soon managed to give it a start.

The other was posting my blogs on time and with consistency. Readings given are sufficient but having the time to read and getting the right resources was a challenge. It was never easy but I managed to discipline myself to read and post most of my blogs with consistency.

Having said that this course, Issues in Publication and Design, make me understand that applications needed to be applied. Things that I am much aware to consider now are the target audiences, the overall layout, designs, presentations done in class, the words used and also the way the passages have been constructed together with the used of images and videos will determined the success and create impact in every aspect whether it supposed to be for print or online version.
